(183-G-76, college: Nebraska), contributed with 15 points each, and Jelena Skerovic (174-G-80) came up with 13, to bring the championship to Wisla, after finishing the regular season with only one defeat and 17 wins. Wisla also has the home-court advantage. They started the series with a win, and ended the same. A pattern was made in between: Game 1 was won by Wisla 88-70, and in Game 2 Lotos came back with a 73-56 triumph. Wisla took the series next to 2-1, and 3-2, only for Lotos to tied right back to 2-2, and 3-3 respectively. At the beginning of game seven the Title was touchable for both teams, but Wisla’s best first halves of the season, put it out of reach for Lotos. They created a gap of 22-13 advantage by the end of the first quarter and widen it even more before the half time break, 41-24. It was hard for Lotos to catch up with them even with high-powered offensive skills of Agnieszka Bibrzycka (184-F/G-82, college: Abilene Christian) and with Rankica Sarenac (202-C-74) braveries. Bibrzycka managed 15 points, while Sarenac put in 20, but the hole that Wisla created in the first half between them and the title was to high to climb.
