After high school Anna received scholarship interest from over 100 Division 1 schools and accepted a full scholarship from the University of Nebraska.  She quickly moved into the starting line up in her freshmen year(starting all but 3 games her entire college career) and went on to become one of the best all-around players in Nebraska history.  She led the Huskers to the NCAA tournament and also the WNIT and currently ranks 8th in total points, 7th in rebounds, 8th in assists and 6th in steals while averaging 15.9 career points per game.  She earned All-Big 12 first team honors in both her junior and senior seasons while also receiving honorable mention All-American honors in both years as well.  Anna graduated with a degree in marketing and because of her basketball success she was named one of the five distinguished players to the Nebraska's All Century Team and Bob Devaney Sports Center team in 2000.  Anna was the first Nebraska women's basketball player to earn a spot on a WNBA regular season roster.
